2023 Spring Ai Lao Mountain Wild Gushu White Tea Cake

Description Pressed from the same material as our Ai Lao Gushu Black tea! This is a very special White tea pressed using material from an unmanaged tea garden high on Ai Lao Mountain (Yunnan). Bushes are fairly large and old. The material is mixed (including silver needles. The mouthfeel is remarkably smooth and soft and drinking encourages salivation. The mixed material makes for good drinking. Classic white tea tartness with a broad spectrum of flavour notes. You will notice the cucumber brightness of the silver needle along side the healthy bassnotes of the lower leaf grades. All round this is a pure tasting, fully flavoured and balanced  white tea with great structure. 5 cake tongs available.
