The hat is completely hand made using traditional millinery techniques and a lot of skill and attention to detail. The base for this hat is hand blocked from navy blue sinamay straw material on a lovely teardrop shaped base. The pillbox hat is adorned with beautifully arranged mesh crin ribbon and an elegantly curled ostrich feather quill. The hat is wired and lined with petersham ribbon. The hat was made to be worn on the right hand side and secures with a hat elastic.
