Autumn is my favourite time of year for painting, the bright yellows, rusts, reds and gold are just so perfect against the blue sky on a sunny day. The leaves are thinner on the trees, so more light comes through and casts shadows accross the woodland floor. In this painting, we follow along the path from the Demesne Gates and across one of the little bridges over the River Deenagh.
