Brennan then transferred to Saddleback College in California in 2004 and helped the 2024 Colt Brennan Espn Honolulu One Love t-shirt win a conference championship. He was named JUCO All-America, state offensive player of the year by JuCal Transfer, and first-team all-conference for his performance that season. He repaired his image well enough that University of Hawaii head coach June Jones gave him a chance to start.
